Due diligence with AI: in hours, on one platform

Anyone buying a company wants to know beforehand what they are buying. In a classic due diligence, specialists spend weeks or months reviewing annual financial statements, contracts, insurance policies and land register extracts. Each area is reviewed on its own, so the connections between the areas are often lost.

majiq handles the entire due diligence on one platform: legal, tax, financial and operational, plus HR and IT. Data room, analysis and report are in one place, and the full analysis is ready in hours instead of weeks. In the interview, Dennis Raisich says that majiq takes over up to 80 percent of the work in a due diligence. The specialists no longer do the legwork; they review and decide.

Every statement backed by evidence

AI sometimes makes things up. That is why majiq has to back every statement with evidence: for every finding, number and answer, majiq names the source and marks the passage in the document. Anything that can’t be backed up stays out of the report. If the report says, for example, that the lease for a hall runs until mid-2029, one click takes you straight to the marked passage in the contract.

majiq classifies findings by fixed rules and cites the relevant article of law. A fixed rule also ensures that the AI never downgrades a serious finding to a side issue. You decide from which amount a risk counts for you.

From data room to due diligence report

You upload the documents as they are: whole folders, ZIP archives, scans, Excel lists or emails, via a secure link if you like. majiq recognizes every document, sorts it into areas such as legal, financials and tax, and shows which documents are still missing for a complete review. You request anything missing from the seller at the push of a button.

Then majiq runs the data room: it collects the buyers’ questions with their answers and records who opened what. For each area, majiq creates a table in which every document is a row, with the key details in columns, such as term, notice period or amount. You ask these tables questions in your own words, and you can ask the AI assistant about the whole data room.

At the end, the due diligence report is created at the push of a button, as a PDF and as a link. Our sample report shows what such a report looks like.

Your data is stored in Switzerland

All documents and reports are stored encrypted in data centers in Zürich. The AI that reads the documents runs in the EU or Switzerland, and the contract rules out training any AI on customer data. Every file is scanned for viruses, and the team always signs in with a second factor.

What majiq knows about the law comes from public sources: we take the laws of Switzerland, Germany and Austria directly from the official collections. Every analysis also produces review patterns that majiq reuses later, and you can bring your own. majiq was developed with Swiss business lawyers.

Who majiq is for

The due diligence itself stays the same; only the perspective changes. In a vendor due diligence, you as the seller see your company’s weak points before a buyer finds them. Buyers and the financing bank know exactly which risks lie in the company. Investors review several target companies quickly and thoroughly, and advisors bring sellers and buyers together on one platform.
